Programming Your Spectrum Remote
The first thing you need to do is to program your remote to Spectrum TV. Here’s how you can do it:
- Turn on your Spectrum TV
- On your remote, find the ‘Menu + OK’ Press and hold these buttons until the ‘Input’ key blinks ‘twice’
- Press the ‘TV Power’ The input button’s light will become solid (not blink anymore)
- Direct your remote to the TV
- Press and hold the ‘Up Arrow Key’
- Your TV should turn off, indicating the remote has stored its code. Release the key when this happens.
Programming Using TV Brand
Follow the steps below if you want to pair your remote control with your TV:
- Turn on your Spectrum TV (the TV that you want to program)
- On your remote find the ‘Menu + OK’ Press and hold these buttons until the ‘Input’ key blinks ‘twice’
- Once it does, press the ‘Power Key’ once
- Press and hold the digit key designated to TV brands. (Find the digit keys below)
- Once the TV turns off, release the key. Your remote should store the TV code now.

Programming Using Radio Frequency (RF)
You can use radio frequency to program your remote to your Spectrum TV. It allows you to use your remote even when the receiver is placed out of view. Here’s how you do it:
- Find ‘Menu’ on your remote and press it
- This will open ‘Settings & Support’ on the left side of the screen in the Menu section
- Find ‘Support’ and press to enter
- Find ‘Remote Control’ in the tiles and press to enter
- Find ‘RF Pair New Remote,’ press and follow the instructions on the screen to pair using RF
Programming Using Code Search
