For WOW! self-installation, you will select a time and date for the technician visit; however, the technician will only visit the periphery of your home and will not need access inside your home, nor are you required to be present on the property. After the technician visit, you will receive a self-install kit which will include the equipment you lease from WOW!, all necessary cords and cables, and an instruction manual on how to install and connect to the internet. Once you complete the installation, your internet will be activated within a short time, depending on your location and service.

The option to choose professional installation will appear when you place your order. If you order online, you can add it to the service before checkout. How Much Does WOW! Charge for Professional Installation?

On the day of your installation, you need to ensure that you or an authorized adult (18 years or above of age) is present at the location to oversee the process. 15 to 20 minutes before your appointment, you will receive a notification that your technician is on the way.
The technician will require access to both inside and outside your home. Outside your home, they will ensure the necessary equipment and connections to smoothly connect the cables that will receive internet, while inside your home, they will set up your router at an optimal place and familiarize you with the equipment.
