Call Waiting

When you are on the phone and someone else starts calling, you will hear a tone to alert you about the other incoming call. This feature is activated automatically for your Wave home phone if included or added to the service, but you can turn it off on a per-call basis by dialing *70.

Caller ID and Call Waiting Caller ID

Both of these features will be automatically activated for your service if they’re included or added to it, allowing you to view the information for all incoming calls.

Caller ID Block

Enter *67 before dialing a number and block your caller ID information from being visible on outbound calls. This is not an automatic feature, thus works on a per-call basis.

Disable Caller ID Privacy

If you have permanently hidden your caller ID information and need to call someone who does not receive anonymous calls, then just end the call, dial *82 before your desired number, and voila!

Nomorobo

Are you tired of telemarketers and illegal robot calls? Worry no more because Wave home phone offers the Nomorobo service to automatically block any Robo-dialled calls so you don’t waste time answering them. The Nomorobo service will filter out and hang up on any telemarketing or robocalls, so you will only hear a single ring for these. Any other calls will come through as usual.

Repeat Dial

Dial *66 to redial the last number you received a busy tone for and let the system dial the number for the next 30 minutes or until the line is free, upon which you will hear a distinctive ring. If you want to cancel redialing before the 30 minutes are over, dial *86.

Return Call

Dial *69 to call back the last person on your incoming calls list. The dialing will continue for the next 30 minutes if the line is busy. If you want to cancel redialing earlier, just dial *89. This feature does not work with cellphone numbers, so you will need to dial them manually.

Call Forward

You can forward all your calls to a number of your choice whenever you’re away from home. However, long-distance charges may apply if you choose a long-distance number. To activate the service, dial *72, and to de-activate it, dial *73.

Selective Call Forwarding

Just like the call forwarding feature this also forwards calls. However, with selective call forwarding, you can select up to 10 numbers to forward the calls from. Other numbers will just ring on your Wave home phone like normal. Dial *63 to activate the feature, dial it again if you want to make changes to your list or deactivate the feature. Keep in mind that Call Forwarding and Selective Call Forwarding cannot be activated together.

Selective Call Rejection

Dial *60 and listen to the instructions to create a list of up to 12 numbers that you would like to screen. Dial the same code to make changes to the list or deactivate the feature.

Selective Call Acceptance

Just like selective call rejection, you can also choose to receive calls from selective numbers. Dial *64 to create a list of up to 10 numbers that will ring through as normal, while everybody else hears a message that you’re not taking any calls for the time being. There is a monthly subscription fee for this feature.

Anonymous Call Rejection

If you’re among the many who do not trust anonymous calls, then turn on this feature by dialing *77. Any callers who have hidden their caller ID information will be notified that you do not receive anonymous calls. They will also be instructed on how to make their identity visible. To disable the feature dial *87.

Distinctive Alert

Wave home phone allows you to set up distinctive ringtones for up to 12 numbers. This way, you will know who is calling before even looking at the phone. Dial *61 to follow the instructions to create the list. In order to make any changes or cancel the feature, dial the same code again.

Speed Dial

Save up to 8 numbers to your speed dial list by entering the code *74 and following the instructions. This feature allows you to quickly call the numbers that you dial most frequently by entering just one digit followed by the # key. If you want to remove a number, you will need to add a new one in its place.

Two-Digit Speed Dial

An advanced version of the speed dial, this feature allows you to add up to 30 numbers to your speed dial list for the ultimate convenience. Quickly dial any saved number by pressing a digit followed by the # key. If you want to remove a number, you will need to add a new one in its place.

Three-Way Calling

Gone are the days of calling just one person at a time. With Wave home phone three-way calling, you can now bridge two people to your call to add some more spice to that gossip. If there is a Link or Flash button on your phone, use it to switch lines instead of the receiver button. Also, note that while you’re making a three-way call, the call waiting feature would be unavailable.
