It wouldn’t be an exaggeration to say that my television box is my best friend. I’ve been a cable TV fan for quite some time now, and I wouldn’t trade it for anything. The wide variety of channels, flexible add-ons, and, of course, the reliable signal quality make it my favorite entertainment platform.
But let me tell you a little something: being a cable TV fan alone isn’t enough to satisfy your entertainment cravings; you need a reliable TV provider that can help you enjoy an incredible viewing experience.
Considering my budget and all these factors, I opted for Spectrum TV and never looked back.
Which Spectrum Internet Plan did I Sign Up for?
I compared all three Spectrum TV plans, namely:
- TV Stream
- TV Select Signature
- TV Select Plus
The winner in my eyes was the Spectrum TV Select Signature plan. I chose this plan because:
- It fell under my budget
- It offered an extensive channel lineup with all my favorite TV channels
- It gave FREE access to the Spectrum TV App
I was extremely pleased with all the features I received at such a great price. However, one little thing was messing with my mind, and that was:
‘How am I going to navigate through such a huge channel library?’
To find an answer to this query, I started doing my research and found some amazing ways of managing the Spectrum channel lineup. In this blog, I will walk you through the steps of doing so. Gear up to organize your favorite channels.
How can you view your Subscribed Channels using the Spectrum TV Guide
The Spectrum Guide is an interactive program that acts as your helping hand when you’re browsing through a huge list of channels.
It makes this process easy by organizing your favorite movies, shows, recordings, and suggestions all in one place. The steps below will give you a clear idea of how the TV Guide works:
1. | Press the ‘Menu’ button on your remote control. |
2. | You will be taken to a page that displays ‘Search, Guide, My Library, TV Shows, Movies, Video Store, Settings & Support’ options. |
3. | Click on ‘Guide’ from the menu bar. |
4. | Doing so will provide you with a list of channels, along with the programs being featured and their timings. |
5. | Choose a program that you want to watch and press the ‘info’ button on your remote control. |
6. | You will now be shown all the information regarding the movie or show that you’ve selected, including the genre, the cast members, the total duration, etc. |
7. | Once you’re done grasping all the details, press the ‘exit’ button twice to leave the Guide. |
8. | Now, to view the ‘Subscribed’ channels only, press the ‘Guide’ button on your remote control. |
9. | You will be shown the ‘Channels’ screen along with a ‘filter’ option. |
10. | By clicking on ‘Filter’ you will be given two options, ‘All Channels’ and ‘Subscribed Channels.’ |
11. | To view only ‘Subscribed Channels’, check the box next to it. |
You can easily save all your DVR recordings, popular movies and TV shows, recently watched content, and your favorite TV channels in your Spectrum Library.
That’s not all, you can also keep your watchlist up to date by saving the programs that you’ve planned to watch later, maybe with your friends and family.
Convenient, isn’t it?
