Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP) and Access with AT&T
The Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP) was initially introduced as Emergency Broadcast Broadband (EBB) for low-income housing that couldn't afford to have an internet connection during the COVID pandemic. It was later changed to the Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP) in 2022 by the Biden administration and continues to provide internet service to those in need.
Internet users who are found eligible under the ACP will automatically become eligible for the AT&T internet specials by Access from AT&T. Access is AT&T’s own endeavor to provide low-cost internet service to deserving candidates.
