• Enter the gateway address of your router or modem. The default gateway address is 192.168.0.1.
• Enter the default username and password to access the Suddenlink web page.
• On the upper right corner, click on Wireless, which will open the wireless settings page.
• Right-click on the SSID field labeled as “Wireless Network Name”.
• Choose Inspect and review the Chrome developer tools.
• Don’t worry about the cluttered page because you only have to find the highlighted text shown in the image below.
• Click on the Edit attribute and press the Delete key to remove the disabled tag.
• Close the developer tools by clicking the close button (x) in the top right.
• A form will appear where you can change the Wireless Network Name field also known as SSID.

- Open browser on your computer such as Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, Firefox, or Opera.
- Click on the address bar in the browser and type 192.168.0.1 and press Enter.
- Suddenlink modem web page will appear.
- Enter the username and password to login to Suddenlink modem settings.
- Go to settings and click “Change Password”.
- Enter the new password twice, both in New Password and Confirm password field and click Set.
